General meeting agenda

Call to order: 1835 Members/auxiliary & guests 62

Officers present: President; Jeremiah, Vice President; Ginger, Sargent at arms; Jamz, Secretary; Dawg, Treasure; Elvis and Bug, Advocates; just Rob, Digger and Steveo.

Pledge, Moment of silence: SA.

President’s report:

Diver has retired.

Ren Faire, we need 4 people for Sat afternoon. We must get all spots covered. You will be able to do all the paperwork on Friday afternoon. We will be camping there; Shifts are 0800-1230 mornings and 1200-1700 afternoons.

10/4/24 Friday, meet at the OC 1130 wheels roll 1200.

10/11/24 Escort a Marine (celebrated his Birthday at the OC). To the Vet’s Cemetery. 1330

10/11/24 Another Marine will be placed 1430. We will already be there.

10/11/24 Cookie monster’s 5TH Birthday at the OC 1700.

10/12/24VNV-LV M/C German fest 1600. 3727 E Joseph Ave. 15.00 per or 20.00 a couple.

10/21/24 South pines Cemetery 13126 32ND Ave. Spokane Valley. Patriot Plaza Dedication. OC 1145 KSU 1230 Starts at 1300.

10/25/24 Trunk or treat, National Guard OC 1630 KSU 1700. Start time 1730. Auxiliary will provide all the candy this year.

Chris Walker needs help with his roof on a manufactured home. Contact Jeremiah.

Vice president’s report:

Thank you to every-one that helped with the POW/MIA this year.

Beard and Mustache competition this year Ginger will trim up to be in the same class as Fallout. Now he knows the rules.

Secretary’s report:

Voting members meeting will be 10/30/24 @ 1830.

If you haven’t fill out the member information sheet, please see me to do so.

By-Laws committee will meet 10/29/24 @ 1830. (Road rules and other policies.)

Treasurer’s report:

Elvis: Get your dues caught up.

Bug: Wants to retire soon. Need someone to train as his replacement. Preferably with experience!

Advocates report:

Just Rob: Nothing currently.

Digger: Nothing currently.

Steveo: Nothing currently.

Resource report:

BBW: We helped a few people this month.

Ride & event committee:

Gnomie:

10/12/24. Fall Closer. OC 0830 KSU 0900. Will be a northern ride. Hwy 2 on back roads, to Newport, Then Ione to Box Canyon Dam. There will be a picnic lunch at the Dam approx. 1130. Digger and VW will donate Pulled Pork and Chicken, Auxiliary will provide the sides.

POW/MIA Recap:

Thank you to everyone that helped especially the auxiliary.

Scout: 103 bikes this year. Was a banner year.

10/13/24 OC is reserved by NW Classics.

We needed a new garbage disposal, thank you Scout for installing it for us.

Store report:

Kare Bear:

POW/MIA. Went very well. Thank you to Stogie, Kirsten, Heather, Weed and Teresa.

Wants help with the store work before and after meetings and events, to keep it manned. If possible, to give her a break as well.

Auxiliary report:

11/14/24 Fund raiser Texas Roadhouse all day.

X-Mas party Dec. 14TH. Sign up to bring your Favorite foods.

Aux. voted on by laws for AUX-SA. Same as the club by-laws.

No Aux. meeting for Jan. and March.

Momma Bear cleaned the popcorn machine. Took 2 1/2 hours. It was really nasty. Needs to be done every time it is used. Thank you, Momma Bear.

Chief came in to personally invite everyone that wants to go on the Special Forces boat cruise. It will cost $40.00 this year it will be on November 9TH Boat leaves at 1230. Don’t be late or you will be left on the dock. Contact Chief at (509) 280-5738, or Longbow. Need to know who is going no later than 11/01/24.

Elvis brought up decals for our windshields that say “Combat Vet Riders” or CVR voted on unanimous yea! If interested contact Elvis. Or get your own. Through Sir Speedy on Apple way is one place to get them.

Just Rob: We should build a ride to the Cigar Train. Next year.

Elections are at the January voting members meeting. Positions available are VP and two Advocates. Nominations are being accepted, make sure you talk with your nominee before nominating them. So far, the nominations are,

VP. Sweed. Scout.

Advocate. Hansel. Skite.

Precious is selling his bike trailer, Ginger is interested, or the club could buy it.

Reaper Tom Chaney is entered in the natural weightlifting competition this year at Northern Quest $20.00 for competition and$40.00 for the finals. “Hope he makes the finals.”

CVR 16TH birthday party is in November. 11/24/24 TBD.
